We also need more active members in Miami as it is a huge city. Would you like to take up the responsibility to post the flyers in Chinese/Indian/Philipino stores or other places where people from these or other immigrant community gathers? Or maybe simply send out emails to send the same message to your friends. It is ok if there is any constraint.

I would stay at least 6 months with employer after getting a GC, unless ofcourse demanded by circumstances!
Are there any implications of leaving my employer now who sponsored me for GC? I got my GC on the first week of July. I plan to leave on the 1st week of September. Thank you very much.

Ronhia, I appreciate your comments. It needs conviction, dedication and consistent efforts to make such accomplishments. Moreover it also demonstrates the character of a person, who can motivate and inspire other kids in a positive way.. especially in an environment full of negative distractions.
If spelling bee competition is considered merely as just cramming the dictionary, as you rightly said we need to really spend some time looking beyond your own shell.
When you open a magazine, for sure, you tend to come across pages that may not be of interest to you. We skip the page and move on rather whining with words (yucky, stupid, senseless) that are inappropriate.
"Winning a national competition is not so great"... again it depends on what is so great to you !!!..

BTW, I want to use this opportunity to thank IV members virtual55, jkays94, and cpolisetti for setting this whole ball in motion.

As I see, most of you are missing the point. Instead of trying to understand, you showing the maturity of mind. The whole purpose of EB immigration is to meet the Demand(Job opportunities) vs the supply(immediately available candidates).
When there are a lot of opportunities exists for EB3 level(skilled profession) and less opportunities exists for EB1(Ph.D/Executive Director), USCIS should give more no. of Visas to EB3, then EB1.
A country cannot be built with only the kings, and not even a home can be built with only Ph.Ds(Nobody do the dishes).

In Michigan they don't even look at your visa to renew your license.
I got my license renewed for another 4 years by mail, in Michigan. No questions asked. Good till 2011. Go Michigan ... :D

I don't think USCIS takes into consideration whether the MS is full time / Part time / distance learning. On the degree certificates no University mention's if the program was full time or online. Also i don't think USCIS goes by the reputation of university. As far as Accreditation is concerned please check with education evaluators they might be of help but then again I don't think USCIS looks for accredited programs. I say so because there are lot of local schools which are not accredited but have good reputations locally.
As far as career growth is concerned after MS that's a separate topic altogether..
