I changed employer and location. So I was asked to clarify the location change if I am still with the sponsoring employer or submit a letter from a current employer stating duties salary etc. Replied to them and they are evaluating the response.

Nope. This can be spillovers. Besides there was a recapture drive before which the Competetive Act of the 21st Century enacted by Congress. I wonder if those numbers are considered in the stats shown..

I made it very clear even in past. I am more rational kinda guy. I want to know where my money is spent at high level - no details. I know its against IV policy. So I admire what IV is doing, I appreciate donor only forum but not contributing yet. May be I am wrong being too hard to be convinced. I will think over.

On the same note, Kumarc123, it is hard to see them working with 2001 EB3-India category for more than 5 years. 245(i) or not...still 5 years...how about that.
Anyway, my point is let us leave predictions. USCIS gave their predictions way back in their Jan 2010 bulletin. Maybe we all should stick with what dates they gave us than we trying to predict.
Now another venting, more calculations, more uproar everything will continue for 1 more week from our members...:rolleyes:

All of my friends about 10-15 of them who came with me in 2000-2001 timeframe got their GC's and their citizenships in EB3 ( none in EB2 ) and I am still hanging .
I wonder what was that which made their application go by light speed and my application go into a blackhole :)

That is true any bodys priority date before that date and cleared FBI name check, finger printing they will be given GC
What do these dates mean? If they are dates for who can apply in Sept, then all (those who could) have filed their AOS in July/August. Do they mean that in Sept 07 USCIS will be approving GC for those within these dates?

So I know what you gonna do , next time when you meet the border patrol. This had happened to a dependant visa holder(h4). It was not renewed in a timely manner alongwith h1b. However, passports were sent for revalidation (in the past, we used to be able to do revalidatoin of visa by mailing the passports to st.louis) and the passports were stamped with new visas. Upon realizing overstay later on (over 1 year), according to legal counsel, she left the country and re-entered with a new I-94. This had made it possible to fall into the cycle of h4 extensions since last entry.
However, her pending I-485 seems problematic.
Is there any way out other than hoping that IO would not notice it? Her brother is a U.S citizen and her daughter too. Does that help? I doubt it...

Guys. Stop threating the original poster. One can verywell change the employer before 180 days of 485 pending and enjoy the AC21 poring benefit. The only rule is "485 has be remain pending for 180 days" for AC21 benefit. One can change job anytime, even before 180 days. The only time it is invalid is, if a guy leavs the employer iwithin 6 months of 485 pending and 485is approved within 180 days of filing, then the GC is invalid one.

Can anyone confirm if the files are actually being transferred from Nebraska to Texas? Why is the compliance date for Texas 10/26 and for Nebraska it's 8/1.
Why would files be transferred from NSC to TSC. Didn't USCIS issue instructions to file everything at NSC. Life is getting more complicated each day.

I didn't mean it in a "against illegal immgration" way. That's the downside of trying to communicate using words online, you can't tell the what other person is really saying at times. What I want (using other slogans if necessary) is to educate people that there is a difference in immigration. As soon as people hear the word immigration, to them it means "illegal" and there has to be some way (using appropriate slogans) to communicate that....that's all :)
